DT-SENSE UltraSonic Ranger (USR) is a module for measuring non-contact distance very easily connected with a variety of microcontroller-based systems. The process of pemicuan (trigger) and read the data measurement with DT-SENSE UltraSonic Ranger requires only 1 piece pin microcontroller. Examples of use of the DT-SENSE UltraSonic Ranger is for intelligent robots, smart vehicle, automatic doors, security system, measuring the distance of the object, and so on.

Specifications:
- Range: 2 cm to 3 m.
- Burst Frequency : 40 kHz-16 Vpp signal box.
- There are no dead zone (no blank spot between 2 cm to 3 m.
- The interface has a Pulse Width /width pulse.
- Fast measurement cycles.
- The reading can be done every 25 ms (40 Hz rate).
- Trigger Input: negative pulses TTL, 20 us (at least).
- Available LED indicator that shows the activity sensor.
- Does not require a delay before the next measurement.
- There is an example program using C language for microcontroller AVR AT90S2313 and BASIC language for MCS-51 microcontroller.
- Need a source voltage 5 VDC.
- Current consumption range 17 mA (typical).
